Engage Her Circle
What is an Engage Her Circle? Many women want to join our organization but also wanted to meet up in their local area. Therefore, we are launching a new program called Engage Her Circles. An Engage Her Circle starts with a group of people who want to come together to hear more about the Engage Her organization and to connect with other like minded people. In New York City, women came together to learn about the organization and now will be helping to support our East Coast conference to be held in New York City in Spring 2010. Their interests and backgrounds are culturally diverse representing different generations and occupations. In Silicon Valley, women have decided to select relevant topics and host a member who will speak at their next meeting about “Re-inventing yourself”. Another circle is forming with women who love films and will host documentaries about important topics as their reason for forming a Circle.
An Engage Her Circle can be 3-4 women or 25 or more. It’s organic, it’s self organized and it’s a great way to deeply connect with women to discuss critical issues like Health, Education and Jobs. It’s a new way of creating a group of women who care about making an impact on their families, community and our country. These Circles will be supported by our organization and constantly apprised of national initiatives we’re involved with. Selecting projects that they can volunteer with as a group will evolve from each Circle and we’ll publish information on our site to update people on their project selection and progress.
To visit an Engage Her Circle or set one up in your community, you can fill out the form and send it to us. We will contact you and send you guidelines and inform you if there are interested members in your area.
